For the past few days I have been at our annual US Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider training camp at the Olympic Training Center in Colorado Springs.

I’ve been able to start working out, albeit gently, for the first time since my injury! The altitude definitely makes it harder, too!

We’ve had lots of meetings regarding the strategy and schedule for this quadrennium, as well as talks on specific sailing topics. It has been fun to hang out with the team and chat with our experts (coaches, trainer, nutritionist, etc.). It’s also fun having fellow Stanford sailor Marion Lepert (US Sailing Team Sperry Top-Sider for the RS:X) here with me! (she’s in the top right of the photo below).
