
We will be racing from August 12th-18th.
Our racing is scheduled to start at 13:00 BRT (Brazil Time, UTC -3) on Aug 12th, 13th, 15th, and 16th. The 14th and 17th are reserve days and will only be used if we are behind schedule. The 18th is the medal race day (for top 10 only) and the 19th is the medal race reserve day (will only be used if the medal race cannot be run on the 18th).

The Opening Ceremony is August 5th. We will stop posting on our team social media starting August 6th , in order to devote our full attention to the competition. After August 6th, please follow the US Sailing Team Sperry social media for updates:

As you probably know there are a few us in Cheltenham, England who are cheering you on. Of course we’ll be delighted if a Brit boat wins the gold but we’ll be celebrating just as much (if not more) if your USA boat wins it ! We’re so excited for you …. and for the whole Scutt/Barr family …. GOOD LUCK and ENJOY !
